Pillole di Teatro
2024 · 45'Six theatre sketches in virtual reality, bringing the stage to hospitals during treatment and waiting times.
Synopsis
Shot at Teatro Lirico in Milan, Teatro della Pergola in Florence and Teatro Quirino in Rome, six episodes capture fragments of performances from inside the stage. With Ale & Franz, Chiara Francini, Caterina Guzzanti, Paolo Rossi, Pino Strabioli, Vicky Catalano and Patrizia Bollini.
Production notes
The idea came from Giulia Delli Santi: using virtual reality to bring theatre to people who can no longer go. Produced by Fratelli Grassi with Gold Enterprise, the project is a kit for care homes and hospital wards, easy to use for medical staff too: a few minutes in a headset during transfusions, dialysis or cancer treatment.
It was made possible by the generosity of the artists and of the three theatres that opened their doors to us.
